Where do you start? Beginning of 7 greenside bunker renovation

I have mulled over the idea of a blog for quite some time. Not sure this will be the smartest decision ever made but I have a feeling it will be well received by the people interested in all things Mink Meadows So here goes:

We were asked to try and fix up a bunker or two in-house before next season. This was our first real attempt at this and we were hoping to bring in a professional shaper but the timing never worked out. So we began and ended up doing the entire renovation. Final stages were made interesting by the early onset of winter and 2-4 inches of frost in the ground. more later...
